How it works:
1. Check-In invitation
On the day of arrival, the guest will receive an email invitation to check-in online. Alternatively, the booking can also be accessed via checkin.hotelbird.com by last name and reservation number.
2. Fill in the registration form
Relevant data of the registration form is queried and stored in the user profile for future check-ins. Business billing address, reason for stay and an ID query are optional.
3. Enter payment details
An SCA is carried out via credit card to create the legally compliant digital registration form.
A prepayment or card authorization is optionally possible.
4. Receive check-in pass
After successful check-in, the guest receives the check-in pass as a PDF via e-mail. The QR code on the check-in pass is scanned at the terminal on the day of arrival to generate a key card.
5. Check-out invitation
On the day of departure, the guest will receive an e-mail invitation to check out online. Alternatively, this also works via checkin.hotelbird.com by entering last name and reservation number.
6. Check folio
The guest receives an overview of all open items. Items from a business billing address are displayed separately.
7. Execute payment
Whether with credit card or alternative payment methods – your guests pay securely and PSD2-compliant. Different payment methods are possible for private and business invoices. Chargebacks are prevented by the SCA process.
8. Receive invoice
After successful check-out, the guest conveniently receives the invoice as a PDF by e-mail.
