At the Innovation Summit of the German Hotel Association, members vote Hotelbird’s new digital guest ident including automated vaccination proof as “Product Innovation of the Year”.

The core of this solution is the ID wallet app with an individual QR code. The security of the data stored in it is based on blockchain technology. The advantage: The hotel can check in guests securely and automatically – as identification and proof of vaccination are stored in a forgery-proof manner, unlike pure upload solutions.
