Permanent member of HSMA

Voice for digitalization in the hotel industry Hotelbird is now a permanent member of HSMA Deutschland e.V.

We live hospitality – every day.

That is why it is important for us to stand up for the concerns of the industry alongside other hotel managers. In February of last year, we were already accepted into the circle of Preferred Partners of the Hotelverband Deutschland (IHA). As of now, we are also involved as a permanent member of the Hospitality Sales & Marketing Association (HSMA). The association is committed to the exchange of information, knowledge and experience in its specialist areas of revenue management, distribution, e-commerce, CRM & marketing, MICE & sales, HR & employer branding and technology.

We see our task in the association’s work as supporting other members in their decision-making as an expert and market leader for digital check-in/out solutions in Germany. Acceptance of automated solutions at the front desk has increased enormously as a result of the Corona pandemic. Contactless services not only relieve staff, but also provide greater security. Interest in and demand for our solutions are increasing, as our team notices every day. However, this is also accompanied by questions about possible applications, requirements and costs. As a permanent member of HSMA, we will provide industry participants with comprehensive information on the possibilities and opportunities and act as their expert.

The association now has over 1,400 members, making it one of the most powerful industry associations in Germany. The high-caliber network and the many events on current topics offer us the best conditions for networking with other industry leaders and exchanging experiences. We are already looking forward to the first joint events, where we will contribute our many years of expertise on digitization in the hotel industry – whether via video conference or in person on site.
