The new Hotelbird Free-Package helps hoteliers to finally start in the new, digital hotel standard

Exactly one month ago, our Hotelbird Free-Package was launched. Our vision: Easy, fast start into the digitization of guest contact for every hotel, every hotel size. Whether 2G, 3G or hopefully soon again just faster check-in in everyday life: In an industry comparison, hotels and restaurants have slept through digitization for many years. Therefore, use the Free-Package this winter to digitally upgrade your hotel!
Around a hundred properties and hotel groups have already accepted our free offer and registered on our Hotelbird website for our free basic digital services check-in, registration form and digital guest directory. Some of them are still uploading their content. More than half of them already offer their guests the digital check-in with digital registration form pre-filled on their own device and an individual digital guest directory. With excellent response from guests and lower contact frequency between staff and guests.
And best of all: Those who use the winter for the basic installation will also get a solution for a digital vaccination proof for the current 2G or 3G check for the digital check-in solution ad-on! in the spring. – And all this is completely free of charge – and will remain so. The digital services for the hotels will only become chargeable after a possible upgrade – if a deeper integration into the hotel’s IT, for example the PMS, into chargeable external systems such as digital payment systems is to be made, or if additional devices – such as user terminals or keycard printers are to be installed.
The new hoteliers also confirm that the onboarding and activation of the digital check-in and the digital guest directory takes only a few minutes.

Especially those who already have a booking.com interface, from which the data can be pulled directly into the new offer, are ready with just a few clicks and can immediately make the new services available to their guests. There are no ties or risks: If the hotel or guests are exceptionally not enthusiastic about the new, digital pre-check-in solution or guest directory on the digital device, the offer can be stopped again immediately at any time.
